· Discover the region by train and bus. As a guest of our small and state-approved resort town you will get a KONUS- Guest Card, with which you can use all regional trains and buses for free. Make a day trip to the nearby historical university town of Freiburg with its many attractions. You might even take your bike with you in the train, drive up to the black forest to one of the stunning lakes Titisee or Schluchsee and then cycle back downhill to the Kaiserstuhl. With the KONUS- Guest Card you can drive all the way to Baden-Baden, Karlsruhe or Basel, everything free of charge.


· The proximity to the Rhine and the Alsace also gives you options for day trips to interesting and historic cities like Strasbourg, Colmar, Kaysersberg or Riquewihr.

Museums in Endingen and its surroundings:


· Vorderösterreich (Further Austria) museum, Endingen

The house "Üsenberger Hof" itself is the most beautiful exhibition piece. In this former noble house with magnificent wall paintings, you find portraits of Maria Theresia, the Breisgau nobility, the former Austrian prelates of today's Southwest Germany and much more.




· Museum of local history, Endingen

Situated in the old city hall you find very valuable coat of arms from the 16th Century, as well as ancient instruments of torture and the executioner’s sword, which remind of Endingen’s jurisdiction. In addition, you will find many exhibition pieces of Endingen’s craftsmen, the “Narrenzunft” and the so called "Tovar-Stüble", which is reminiscent of the emigration of 342 regional people to Venezuela in 1843.

Here you can experience a century-long history of a cheese dairy in Endingen.
